Changes in Release 1.136 (2026/11/08)

Admin Console

  • Changed: Event Forwarders now send a heartbeat every five minutes, so a SIEM can tell a quiet tenant from a stopped feed, and every event names who caused it.
  • Changed: Event Forwarder filters now offer every event type.
  • Fixed: Event Forwarders could stop delivering events after a service interruption, and lost events when a syslog receiver restarted.
  • Fixed: Events showed the client's port as part of its address, and logins with API keys were not recorded.
  • Fixed: Broker unreachable notifications could remain after the client was back online.
  • Fixed: An exit node could not be created when the tenant only had Windows assets.
  • Fixed: Access Diagnosis failed for user clients.
  • Fixed: On computers shared by several users, every user was shown as signed in, and Access Diagnosis showed users as allowed through another user's policies.
  • Fixed: The Events page showed events about blocked access attempts as unknown.
  • Fixed: In the Topology Explorer and Connectivity Explorer, a horizontal mouse wheel only zoomed in.
  • Fixed: The labels of the CPU and memory chart legend were cut off.

Agents

  • New: The agent is now available in Dutch.
  • Changed: Newly enabled Isolation now stays in effect while the agent is stopped or updated and across restarts. xtna-util -release-isolation lifts it locally.
  • Fixed: Agents lost their connections during a short interruption of the XplicitTrust service.
  • Fixed: A computer restored with macOS Migration Assistant or cloned from another machine could not connect, or took over the other machine's identity.
  • Fixed: On Windows, switching to another user in the agent failed in rare cases since 1.128.
  • Fixed: On macOS, the agent's menu bar icon did not return after an update when the Mac was at the login window, e.g. with Fast User Switching or Screen Sharing.
  • Fixed: The agent could crash repeatedly when certain devices on the local network answered its discovery probes.
  • Fixed: On LANCOM Unified Firewalls with port forwarding enabled, direct connections to the agent could fail. See LANCOM.

  • New: Web Apps publish web applications behind a gateway asset under their own hostname, open to everyone, to signed-in users of selected groups, or through the tunnel only. They can be used as policy destinations and appear in the Topology Explorer and Connectivity Explorer.
  • New: Firewall Sync lets a gateway asset keep the rules of a FortiGate firewall in front of its networks in line with its policies.
