Changes in Release 1.024 (2024/10/20)
-
Management Console
- New: Learning Mode
- The new Access Tracking, Access Insights and Virtual Asset and Policy Wizard features work together to provide a network asset and service discovery capability called Learning Mode. Learning Mode simplifies the onboarding process in networks where the applications in use are unknown. After deploying a Linux Asset, configuring a Subnet on it and enabling Access Tracking, the discovered traffic can be directly converted into Virtual Assets (or Assets) and corresponding Policies.
- New: Access Tracking
- Linux Assets have a new Access Tracking option which can be enabled (disabled by default).
- Once Access Tracking is enabled, all connections made to or forwarded by this asset will be logged and can be viewed on the new Access Insights page.
- New: Access Insights
- Selecting a Subnet from the Assets page where the Gateway Asset has Access Tracking enabled will bring up a new Access Insights action icon.
- The Access Insights for a Subnet lists all individual IPs and the services that have been accessed.
- New: Virtual Asset and Policy Wizard
- Selecting any of the individual IPs in the Subnet Access Insights will bring up a wizard to create a Virtual Asset and associated Policy for that IP and the services accessed.
- Services that do not exist can be automatically created and then renamed.
- The wizard will suggest User Groups that cover the Users seen by Access Tracking.
- New: Device Inventory
- The new Device Inventory page lists all Assets and Clients with associated device compliance and security information.
- New: Learning Mode
