Authentication

XplicitTrust Networks Access delegates authentication to a third-party identity provider of your choice. The following identity providers are currently supported:

  • Microsoft Azure Active Directory

    • Use Azure AD Groups to configure user access to assets
    • Import groups from Azure AD
    • Support for Azure AD Guest Users

  • Google Identity / Google Workspace

    • Use Google Directory Groups to configure user access to assets
    • Import Groups from Google Directory

  • Google Personal Account (a.k.a. Google GMail)

    • No User Group Support
    • Google personal accounts can only use XplicitTrust user groups to configure user access to assets
    • Limited to one administrator account and a total of five users

  • AuthN by IDEE

    • Can be used as an Authenticator Client for Microsoft Azure AD or as an Identity Provider
    • AuthN by IDEE does not support User Groups when used as an Identity Provider

  • Bare.ID

    • Use Bare.ID Directory Groups to configure user access to assets
    • Import User Groups from Bare.ID
