Asset Policy

Asset Policies define which assets are allowed to access services on, or in the case of virtual assets via, an asset. They are configured on the Asset Policies page on the left site menu in the management console.

Fields

Enable/Disable

Asset Policies can be disabled and are then not evalutated.

Name

The selected Name is shown in the table, on the asset insight page and in the edit dialog of an asset.

Description

Can be used to provide Context for the Administrators only.

Authorized Assets

The list of Authorized Assets defines the Assets which get Access to one or multiple services.

Accessible Assets

The list of Accessible Assets defines the Assets providing the services, available by this policy.
